Project ManagerThe Project Manager is a key operational position for the organization and serves as the single point of contact for internal and external parties during the construction phase of the project. This position is responsible for both project and field management aspects of the job and ensures projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to client expectations. The Project Manager may be asked to provide oversight to multiple construction projects but will also shift to leading a single project when necessary.Essential Job FunctionsTeam ManagementProvide operational and financial oversight to Assistant Project Managers and/or Superintendents running separate projectsProvide coaching and direction to improve individual and project performanceProject and Field ManagementControl time, cost, and quality of a construction project through careful schedule management, coordination of subcontractor work, and quality oversightWork with the Senior Project Manager and key decision maker in the field to identify worksite assignments, ensure the project is appropriately resourced, materials are available, and daily field operations are on trackSupervise the work quality, timeliness, and overall performance of subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers and initiate corrective action if any of these aspects jeopardize the success of the projectProactively identify project areas that are failing to meet expectations and identify methods to resolve issues to get projects back in line with financial, operational, and scheduling requirementAssist in coordinating subcontractor's work to avoid field conflictsPartner with the Centric Safety Manager to maintain a safe work site environment that is in compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulationsBuild effective working relationships with architects, subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to complete projects on time and ensure Centric is seen as a professional in our industryAssist the Senior Project Manager with project communication by facilitating internal and external meetings, keeping work schedules updated, and completing weekly status reportsEnsure clients receive frequent communications regarding the status of the project and are made aware of viable options to problem-solve challengesProvide coaching and direction to Assistant Project Managers working under their direction on assigned projectsQualifications and RequirementsBasic QualificationsMinimum (4) years of experience in a commercial construction setting performing both project management and direct field supervisionBachelor's degree in construction management, project management, or an equivalent combination of closely related education and construction experienceBasic knowledge of project management and scheduling softwareA valid driver's license is requiredOSHA-10 and First-Aid/CPR certifications are required within 30 days of hirePrevious experience in the supervision of suppliers and subcontractors on a job siteKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesDemonstrates innovative problem-solving that considers all facts and points of view on the issue to be resolvedStrong ability to prioritize and develop work schedules that incorporate multiple people and factorsMaintains composure and professionalism in difficult situations and effectively resolves conflictsExcellent communication skills, both in writing and face-to-faceStrong ability to build relationships and influence others into actionAble to move ideas from brainstorming to strategy to implementationSuperior Benefits PackageUnlimited PTO100% Employee-owned!One month Sabbatical after seven years of continuous serviceAffordable, quality medical, dental, and vision insuranceHSA with company matchCompany-paid life and disability insuranceCompany provided laptop and cell phone401k plan with company contributions529e college savings plan with company contributionsTuition reimbursementStudent loan repayment assistanceCentric is an equal opportunity employer.
