Position Overview
The Project Manager will build strong relationships with owners and architects while maintaining the project schedule, budget, and quality of construction.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee total construction efforts to ensure the project is constructed in accordance with design, budget, schedule, and with the highest quality project to the client’s satisfaction.
- Lead preconstruction efforts by performing takeoffs, estimating, selection of subcontractors, and bid proposal submission to the owner.
- Ability to work as the leader in a design-build effort.
- Oversee the buyout process and completion of contracts to subcontractors.
- Review, monitor, and manage the project budget, construction costs, and other financials, resulting in the accomplishment of the project objectives and profitability.
- Create and manage a construction schedule to ensure deadlines are met.
- Conduct weekly OAC meetings.
- Conduct regular onsite visits to ensure the quality of the project.
Education and Experience
- 5+ years of relative experience in the construction industry
Qualifications
- Experience working on commercial construction projects
- Experience with Project Management tools Timberline and Procore preferred
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Project
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
