Market and secure additional work with client; responsible for the project change management processParticipate in negotiations with regulatory agencies and in public meetings in support of clients.Monitor/control construction process through direction of on-site Superintendent to ensure project is built on schedule and within budget; investigate and identify all potential impacts to the project and implement corrective measures.Ensure productivity of subcontractors, efficient use of materials & equipment, and overall schedule of the project.Initiate and maintain liaison with prime client and A/E contacts, to facilitate construction activitiesMonitor/control construction through administrative direction of on-site Superintendent to ensure project is built on schedule and within budgetRepresent company in project meetings, assist in labor negotiations/strategy meetingsManage financial aspects of contracts (fee payment, rental equipment, income/expenses, etc.) to protect company's interest and simultaneously maintain good relationship with ClientMay perform other duties as assignedRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or similar from an accredited institution and 10 or more years of building construction experienceFive (5) or more years Project Management experience managing multiple construction projectsExperience/knowledge with Job Order Contracting (JOC), unit pricing, requirement pricing required.Thorough understanding of corporate and industry practices, processes, standards, etc. and their impact on project activitiesKnowledge of construction cost, scheduling, estimating, purchasing, and engineering principles and techniques, as well as accounting principlesAbility to read, understand and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work and project scheduleMS Office applications (Word/Excel/Outlook/PowerPoint).
