Project Manager - Civil / Environmental EngineerWe are looking for a Florida-licensed Civil/Environmental Engineer to serve as a Project Manager, leading land development engineering projects and working with junior engineers and designers to deliver residential, multifamily, commercial, and industrial projects. Location: Jacksonville, FL (100% onsite, local candidates only) Job Type: Permanent / Direct HireResponsibilities:Lead the engineering design and permitting process for land development projectsManage engineering delivery teams working on residential subdivision and commercial site-design projectsServe as Engineer of Record (EOR), providing technical review of engineering plans and calculationsPrepare and review full engineering plans and supporting calculationsProvide technical guidance, mentoring, and development for junior engineers and designersOversee project schedules, resource allocation, and technical milestones to support timely project completionManage client and project-related activities to ensure quality engineering designs and successful permittingCoordinate with internal design teams regarding project schedules, deliverables, and client expectationsSupport proposal preparation and monthly project billing activitiesApply land development engineering expertise to projects while maintaining applicable design standards, regulations, and permitting requirementsContribute to the continued growth and development of the engineering teamRequirements:Education - Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Civil EngineeringExperience - At least 10 years of land development; hands-on experience in preparing and reviewing full engineering plans and calculations; experience with local regulations and permitting requirements involving municipalities and state agenciesLicensure - Must have active Professional Engineering License in FloridaProject Management - Experience in project management, project scheduling and client management (business development skills, highly desired); team leadership and mentorship; staff developmentProject Experience - Land Development engineering for Single Family, Multifamily, Commercial and Industrial developmentsModeling Tools - Proficient with AdICPR, EPANET, or similar pressure-pipe modeling software
