Project ManagerThe Project Manager is responsible for overseeing cleanroom construction projects from project inception through final completion. This role ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with all applicable regulations and quality standards. The Project Manager works closely with the Superintendent and project teams to coordinate construction activities, manage project documentation, financial performance, and maintain strong relationships with owners, consultants, and subcontractors.Duties & ResponsibilitiesOversee all day-to-day construction activities from preconstruction through project closeoutPartner with the Superintendent to monitor schedule, budget, and overall project performanceParticipate in preconstruction activities including coordination with estimating and project teamsSupport value engineering efforts to improve project efficiency and cost effectivenessManage design-build projects including coordination with design consultants and oversight of design schedulesReview architectural drawings, specifications, and building designs to ensure they meet project requirementsOrganize, direct, and coordinate project team members to ensure successful project deliveryEnsure subcontractor insurance and bonding requirements are met prior to project startManage project minority participation requirements where applicablePartner with internal departments including estimating, purchasing, and scheduling to ensure efficient project executionAssist with project documentation including project summaries, photos, and database updatesDevelop and maintain project schedules from project start through completionClient & Stakeholder RelationsBuild and maintain strong relationships with project owners and subcontractorsServe as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders throughout the project lifecycleRepresent the company professionally with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and regulatory agenciesMaintain positive communication with owners and architect/engineering teams to support project executionTeam LeadershipProvide leadership and guidance to Assistant Project Managers and project staffCommunicate expectations and ensure team accountabilitySupport jobsite safety initiatives in partnership with the SuperintendentIdentify opportunities to strengthen safety procedures and standardsCommunicate regularly with executive leadership regarding project updates and potential issuesDocument ControlManage project documentation including submittals, drawings, and specificationsReview and process submittals to maintain project progressManage all Procore operations including change management, document control, and drawing logsAdminister subcontracts and purchase ordersEnsure subcontractors meet insurance, bonding, and contract requirements prior to mobilizationFinancial ManagementManage project financial performance including vendor invoices and owner billingsMaintain cost forecasts and monitor project budgetsManage internal and external change ordersSupport estimate reviews to ensure budget alignment with project scope and market conditionsQuality ControlEnsure construction operations comply with design specifications and company policiesPartner with the Superintendent to monitor quality control throughout the project lifecycleManage warranty issues and coordinate resolution with subcontractors and vendorsConduct site inspections to ensure work complies with applicable codes, safety regulations, drawings, and specificationsQualifications & RequirementsBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Project Management, or a related fieldMinimum 5 years of relevant construction experience directly related to project management responsibilitiesExperience with project cost management and estimatingProficiency with construction management software such as Sage/Timberline and Procore or similar systemsExperience with scheduling tools including Microsoft Project or Primavera P6Working knowledge of RevitAbility and willingness to travel as requiredStrong written and verbal communication skillsKnowledge of construction design, building systems, and project planning principlesAbility to read and interpret architectural drawings, blueprints, and technical documentationUnderstanding of building estimates and feasibility studiesStrong negotiation and contract management skillsAbility to lead teams and coordinate with a wide range of stakeholdersStrong organizational and workflow management abilitiesKnowledge of construction procurement processes and contract documentsFamiliarity with federal, state, and local building codes and regulationsAbility to conduct site inspections and approve work in placeProficiency with Microsoft Office and PC-based systems in a Windows environment
