Project ManagerWe have partnered with a large industrial construction company in the Indianapolis, IN area to provide them with a Project Manager. Please review the below description and let us know if you are interested.Prioritized Must Have Skills for the Project Manager:#1. Must have Industrial Construction experience.#2.

Must have working knowledge of Primavera P6#3. No more than 3 jobs in the last 10 years.Responsibilities of the Project Manager:Demonstrate proficiency in the following functions within the Project Controls department Develop and maintain fundamental project schedule utilizing Primavera P6Develop and implement cost tracking system for the projectProvide accurate cost forecasting of projectsAble to develop change management tracking within the projectDemonstrate a solid competence in the following functions of the Estimating department Perform direct work labor estimatesDevelop material lists based on current engineering specificationsDevelopment of proposalsStrong understanding of estimating units such as MCA or Hang and TackStrong understanding of material rate structures for estimatingSolid understanding of labor rate development and definition of costsPerform, at an expert level, the following functions within the Project Services department Material procurement and trackingRental Equipment solicitation and trackingInternal Tool RequestionInterpret the commercial terms and conditions for projectsUnderstand and explain craft labor agreementsUnderstand and describe various contract strategies and typesConduct and participate in Construction Operations MeetingsProficient in performing accounting system functions including Solid understanding and able to explain craft pay rates and overtime rulesMentor new foremen in payroll proceduresUnderstand cash flow and participate in invoice preparation and collection of accounts receivableActively participate in customer entertainment outside of the normal workday and continue building strong customer relationshipsAttend Risk Management training to keep up to date with risks that the company will accept on projectsProficiently perform effective safety audits weeklyBe an expert with unsafe behaviors in the field as well as how to prevent and stop these behaviorsParticipate in company Safety Incentive programs and in daily safety planning activitiesParticipate in Quality Action Teams and actively seek areas where we can improve day to day operations and proceduresExhibit a solid understanding of the company Marketing Plan and assist in pursuit of projects that are in line with the Marketing PlanAttend training courses that will increase your knowledge and add value to your developmentServe as an active member on internal committees and task forcesRequirements of the Project Manager:Bachelors Degree in Construction Engineering, Management or a related field is required.Commitment to continuing education to ensure that skillsets match project needs is critical.Minimum 8 years of Industrial Construction experience requiredStrong Microsoft Office Suite skillsExperience using project management software, such as Primavera P6Other Key Requirements:Work on-site.No sponsorships or visa holders.
