Role Description<
/strong>The Project Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Indianapolis, IN, responsible for overseeing projects from initial planning through completion. This role coordinates schedules, materials, and subcontractors to ensure indoor and outdoor living projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Daily tasks include managing project timelines, tracking progress, resolving issues, and communicating clearly with clients, vendors, and internal teams. The Project Manager conducts site visits, oversees inspections, and monitors quality standards to ensure work aligns with design specifications and safety requirements. The role also involves updating project documentation, reporting on status and risks, and continuously improving processes for project execution and logistics.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in Project Management, including planning, execution, and close-out of construction or home improvement projects.
- Skills in Expediting and Expeditor responsibilities, ensuring timely delivery of materials and coordinating with suppliers and partners.
- Experience with Inspection and quality control to confirm that work meets safety, regulatory, and design standards.
- Logistics Management skills for organizing resources, scheduling crews, and optimizing workflows across multiple projects.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with clients, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to read and interpret project plans, drawings, and specifications; attention to detail and problem-solving capability.
- Proficiency with project management software and basic office tools (e.g., spreadsheets, scheduling applications).
- Relevant experience in construction, outdoor living, or residential remodeling; a bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a related field is preferred.
