Job Description
The Project Manager III is responsible for leading facilities and operational project initiatives from initiation through closure, managing scope, schedule, budget, resources, and stakeholder communications. This role supports multiple concurrent projects across business units, partnering with internal stakeholders, vendors, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver successful project outcomes. The role requires a strong blend of project management expertise and facility operations experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead all phases of assigned projects including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
- Develop, maintain, and present comprehensive project plans, schedules, budgets, and status updates to project sponsors and leadership.
- Coordinate project resources, staffing, vendor relationships, procurement activities, and issue resolution.
- Monitor project performance and recommend schedule, budget, or resource adjustments as needed.
- Direct cross-functional teams to ensure project deliverables meet quality, reliability, schedule, and cost objectives.
- Provide regular communication and reporting to stakeholders regarding project risks, milestones, and overall progress.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Information Systems, or related field plus eight (8) years of project management experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience totaling twelve (12) years.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong project management skills.
- Experience defining and managing project scope, schedules, budgets, resources, and project delivery.
- PMP certification.
- Proficiency with Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Copilot.
Preferred Qualifications
- Facilities Management Professional (FMP) certification.
- Facility operations experience.
- Extensive knowledge of project management methodologies, processes, and best practices.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and coordinating across multiple stakeholders.
- Strong communication, organizational, leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in ambiguous environments.
