Project Manager III – Specialty Concrete Infrastructure ProjectsSuperior Skilled Trades is seeking a Project Manager III for a direct hire opportunity supporting specialty concrete infrastructure and prestressed tank construction projects across North Florida. This is a senior-level leadership role responsible for overseeing complex, multi-phase construction projects from preconstruction through closeout while ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and cost performance.The Project Manager III will act as a key decision-maker, coordinating between field operations, engineering, procurement, safety, accounting, and client stakeholders. This role requires advanced project management expertise, strong leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple high-value infrastructure projects in fast-paced field environments.ResponsibilitiesDevelop full understanding of contract documents including drawings, specifications, and addendaEnsure projects meet all safety, quality, scope, and schedule requirements at a senior leadership levelPrepare comprehensive project startup packages including budgets, job cost setup, and execution planningDevelop and maintain advanced CPM schedules, including sequencing, updates, and recovery planningCoordinate with drafting teams on shop drawings, formwork drawings, and complex construction detailingReview shop drawings for full compliance with contract and engineering requirementsLead submittal coordination with subcontractors and purchasing to ensure timely procurement flowPrepare, transmit, and track all submittal packages across project stakeholdersReview bills of materials, purchase orders, and work orders for procurement approval and cost controlConduct regular jobsite visits during mobilization and active construction phasesLead internal preconstruction planning and project kickoff meetingsAnalyze weekly job cost reporting (EPIR/CCTS) for accuracy, trends, and performance trackingPresent financial forecasts, cost performance, and schedule updates during monthly WIP meetingsOversee field coordination including safety inspections, QA/QC inspections, pre-pour meetings, testing requirements, and job cost trackingManage unit quantities, productivity tracking, T&M reporting, and budget/schedule adjustmentsMaintain direct communication with Superintendents regarding field performance and executionManage complex coordination issues, change orders, delays, and contractual matters with owners, GCs, and subcontractorsSupport timely project closeout including O&M manuals, as-builts, warranties, and final documentation packagesLead post-project reviews and performance evaluationsParticipate in monthly leadership meetings and contribute to strategic project planningQualificationsBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field OR equivalent experienceMinimum 7+ years of related construction management experienceStrong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and contract administrationAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)Valid driver's license with clean driving record and insurabilityStrong leadership, communication, and decision-making skillsAbility to manage multiple complex projects in a high-pressure environmentPreferred QualificationsConcrete or heavy civil infrastructure experience strongly preferredOSHA 30 Certification preferredPMP Certification a plusProficiency with MS Project or scheduling softwareProficiency with BluebeamExperience with Autodesk DWF ComposerFirst Aid / CPR / AED certification a plusKey CompetenciesSenior-level leadership and project execution capabilityStrong financial, scheduling, and cost control acumenAdvanced problem-solving and risk management skillsAbility to lead coordination across multiple stakeholders and disciplinesStrong negotiation and conflict resolution skillsHigh attention to detail with strong documentation disciplineAbility to manage multiple high-value infrastructure projects simultaneouslyStrong professional communication and client-facing presenceAbility to adapt to evolving field conditions and implement new technologies
