This position provides strategic direction, project governance, and mentorship to project teams while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within scope, within budget, and in full compliance with nuclear regulatory requirements.The ideal candidate brings extensive experience in nuclear project execution, strong leadership capabilities, and a proven ability to manage large, multidisciplinary teams in regulated environments.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Leadership & StrategyProvide strategic leadership and direction for complex nuclear projectsLead project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocationEnsure alignment of project objectives with organizational and business strategiesScope, Risk & Performance ManagementDefine and manage project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholdersDevelop and implement comprehensive risk management strategies to proactively address technical, regulatory, and execution risksMonitor and control project performance, ensuring adherence to schedule, cost, and quality requirementsExecution & GovernanceApply advanced project management methodologies and innovative approaches to improve project deliveryMaintain accurate and complete project documentation, controls, and reportingProvide regular status reports and executive-level briefings to senior leadershipStakeholder & Regulatory EngagementManage communication and expectations of internal and external stakeholders, including engineering, operations, construction, regulatory, and executive leadershipEnsure compliance with nuclear safety culture, NRC regulations, and company standardsTeam Leadership & MentorshipLead, mentor, and coach project managers and project teams, sharing industry best practicesFoster a high-performance, safety-focused, and collaborative project environmentRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Project Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field10–15+ years of project management experience, including leadership of complex, large-scale projectsExtensive experience managing projects in nuclear or highly regulated utility environmentsAdvanced knowledge of project management principles, methodologies, and toolsStrong experience managing projects with strategic organizational impactExceptional leadership, communication, and strategic planning skillsAbility to adapt to dynamic environments and lead multidisciplinary teamsCertificationsPMP (Project Management Professional) – RequiredAdvanced certifications or specialized nuclear / program management credentials – Highly PreferredPreferred QualificationsExperience managing capital projects, outages, or major modifications in nuclear facilitiesExperience interfacing with executive leadership and regulatory organizationsStrong background in governance, risk management, and continuous improvement initiatives
