The Project Manager – Heavy Civil will oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of civil construction projects across the DFW Metroplex. This role requires a proactive leader capable of managing budgets, schedules, contracts, and field operations while coordinating closely with project engineers, estimators, superintendents, and clients.
The Project Manager will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget while maintaining strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of all contract documents including plans, specifications, owner contracts, subcontracts, and purchase orders
Manage project schedules and oversee long-term planning and execution
Establish project objectives, procedures, policies, and performance standards aligned with company goals
Coordinate communication across internal teams, clients, subcontractors, and consultants
Prepare and submit project budgets, progress reports, and cost tracking reports
Plan, organize, and direct activities related to construction and infrastructure projects
Enforce safety standards and mitigate project risks across all scopes of work
Provide administrative direction to field Superintendents to ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget
Oversee project lifecycle from mobilization through closeout
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field required
~3–5+ years of experience as a Project Manager or similar role in heavy civil or commercial construction
~ Experience managing projects in both public and private sectors preferred
Strong understanding of heavy civil construction practices
Experience with construction software including Primavera P6, HeavyJob, Bluebeam, and CAD
Strong budgeting, scheduling, and contract management skills
