Project Manager Healthcare

We are looking for a Project Manager to support a healthcare initiative focused on building and launching a transportation reimbursement program for Medicaid patients in Louisiana. This is a Contract position based in Plano, Texas, and the person in this role will help shape a scalable operating model starting with an initial pilot site. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in business process improvement, cross-functional project leadership, and operational documentation to turn an identified reimbursement opportunity into a repeatable, sustainable program. This is remote, with some travel to Louisiana.

Responsibilities:• Evaluate existing transportation reimbursement activities to identify operational gaps, control weaknesses, and missed revenue opportunities.• Create and document improved end-to-end workflows that support accurate reimbursement capture and consistent execution.• Lead project activities from discovery through implementation, keeping milestones, deliverables, and stakeholder alignment on track.• Partner with internal departments and external vendors to coordinate processes, clarify responsibilities, and improve reimbursement flow.• Develop standard operating procedures, governance materials, and supporting documentation to strengthen process consistency.• Guide change management efforts by preparing teams for new ways of working and helping drive adoption across impacted groups.• Produce training resources and facilitate knowledge transfer so users can effectively follow the new procedures.• Build a repeatable framework that can be expanded from the pilot location to additional facilities in the future.
