This role oversees safety compliance, subcontractor coordination, bid and change management, scheduling, budgeting, and collaboration with general contractors, vendors, and internal teams. This position serves as a subject matter expert and trusted leader, integrating technology solutions while maintaining quality, financial performance, and schedule adherence across assigned projects.What You'll Be DoingCore ResponsibilitiesChampion and support a strong safety culture, promoting an injury-free work environment through leadership and mentorshipCoordinate technology design and construction efforts to meet constructability, quality, financial, and technical standardsParticipate in pre-construction efforts including RFP reviews, subcontractor and supplier coordinationPartner with the pre-construction team on scope validation, leveling, contract negotiations, and procurement strategyReview and manage change orders and pricing with Project Engineers and subcontractorsManage subcontractors and suppliers, including communication, scheduling, reporting, and performance trackingCoordinate site activities, walks, meetings, and reporting with jobsite teams and general contractorsProvide technical expertise related to design-assist, installation, and network/system integrationDevelop project-specific scopes of work and responsibility matricesReview quantity takeoffs, obtain pricing, and assist with developing accurate budgets and hard bidsManage project budgets, costs, and projections in alignment with project goalsSupport OSHA and union safety standards and complianceLead, coach, and motivate project teams in a proactive and collaborative mannerTrack and report progress against project milestonesEnsure all project documentation is properly maintained and archived at project close-outAdditional ResponsibilitiesManage the technology consulting process with clients, owners, consultants, and contractorsIdentify and support emerging technologies aligned with smart building solutionsCollaborate with sales teams on new technology offerings and market opportunitiesMaintain professional expertise through continuing education, industry involvement, and networkingSupport recruiting, onboarding, and training of team members as the organization growsFoster positive relationships with local municipalities, civic organizations, and union partnersWhat We're Looking ForKnowledge, Skills & AbilitiesStrong project management experience within technology, low-voltage, or construction environmentsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to deliver effective presentations and lead meetingsProficiency with Microsoft Office and project management toolsStrong budgeting, forecasting, and cost-control skillsProven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and complex schedulesSelf-starter with strong follow-through and accountabilityTeam-oriented mindset with the ability to build long-term professional relationships
