Position Overview
Metric Geo has partnered with a client that is seeking an experienced Project Manager to plan, direct, and coordinate Heavy Civil and Infrastructure Projects throughout the region, ensuring goals are met within schedule and budget. With a track record including some of the largest projects in the region, this is an exciting opportunity to progress in your career!
Key Responsibilities
- Manage projects from award through closeout, including budgets, schedules, and cost reporting.
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and field teams to keep work on track.
- Review and process change orders, RFIs, and submittals.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, engineers, and agency representatives.
- Chair project meetings and report progress to senior leadership monthly.
- Mentor project engineers and support staff development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 5+ years of project management experience in heavy civil construction.
- Strong knowledge of scheduling and cost control software (e.g., Primavera P6, Excel).
- Experience with public agency work preferred.
