Provides expert project management knowledge and support to project teams, providing solutions to obstacles to achieve successful launch and revenue generation of products.Plans and manages key projects through entire life cycle to achieve product launch and revenue generation.Serves as liaison with a diverse range of departments in the product development process including Sales, R&D, Quality, Process Engineering, Manufacturing, EHS and Legal, as well as with the Customer.Works closely with the customer during the project life cycleManages project teams and projects ensuring timeliness, cost, revenue and quality objectives are met.Provides leadership to project teams and expert knowledge to achieve successful progression of projects through launch and commercialization.Provides timely updates to all stakeholdersGrows long-term relationships with customers for potential additional partnership opportunitiesEvokes creative and innovative thinking from team membersWorks across practices/disciplines to share lessons learned and best practicesEasily recognizes areas for internal improvement and develops plans for implementation.Implements improvements to the PDR Stage Gate processComplies with and enforces standard policies and proceduresPerforms other duties and responsibilities as assigned.Business, Engineering or Science degreeMinimum of 1-3 years project management experiencePMP Certification desiredProven track record of successful management of projects meeting budget and target date requirementsAbility to handle multiple projects simultaneouslyStrong oral and written communications skillsExceptional ability to manage detail in the context of overall project and business strategies; ability to make sound decisions balancing competing considerationsExcellent team leadership and facilitation skillsWorks well under pressure ensuring tasks and goals are metPrevious experience in coatings and adhesives preferredPrevious experience with LEAN and SIX SIGMA preferredAbility to travel as needed (up to 10%)
