Project Manager - Field Operations IThe Project Manager-Field Operations supports the planning and execution of equipment delivery and site operations within Holtec's Site Services Division. This role is responsible for managing the full project lifecycle, from planning and procurement through on-site execution, while ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and cost objectives are met. The ideal candidate brings strong project management capability, operational awareness, and the ability to effectively coordinate across internal teams, vendors, and field personnel in a fast-paced, technical environment.Location: Camden, NJ (On site; approximately 50% travel split between office and field operations)Primary Responsibilities:Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, and performance metrics in alignment with Holtec proceduresCoordinate vendors, logistics, and procurement activities, including securing proposals, issuing purchase orders, and managing commercial closeoutServe as the primary point of contact for clients, developing and maintaining strong working relationshipsPrepare and communicate project updates, status reports, and key deliverables to internal and external stakeholdersLead project planning efforts, including facilitating internal and external planning meetingsEnsure effective contract administration, including project closeout, post-project evaluations, and lessons learnedProvide evaluation and recommendations for contracted services, materials, and project execution strategiesServe as the onsite lead during equipment delivery, offloading, and assembly operationsOversee quality assurance activities and ensure compliance with technical specifications and project requirementsConduct safety briefings, direct field personnel, and ensure all work is performed safely and efficientlySupervise site activities including equipment assembly, concrete placement, and overall project executionPerform site walkdowns, conduct surveillance of contractors and vendors, and ensure successful project deliveryRequirements:High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred5–8 years of relevant experience in project management, field operations, or construction/manufacturing environmentsExperience managing scope, schedule, cost, quality, and performance across multiple projectsStrong communication skills with the ability to convey technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersProven ability to manage multiple priorities, solve complex problems, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentExperience coordinating vendors, logistics, procurement processes, and contract administration activitiesAbility to perform effectively in both office and field environments, with significant travel requirementsStrong troubleshooting, critical thinking, and decision-making skillsFamiliarity with safety protocols and ability to lead safe work practices in field operationsAbility to maintain required site access credentials, including medical or testing requirements as applicableSupervisory or leadership experience in field operations or project executionFamiliarity with nuclear industry regulations or large-scale industrial project environmentsProficiency with scheduling tools and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Compensation: Annual compensation based on skills and experience ranging from $55,000 to $65,000.Benefits: Industry-leading medical, dental, and vision coverage with a generous employer premium contribution and Day 1 eligibility!
