They will have the responsibility for coordinating and leading our design teams in the Mid-Atlantic region to deliver quality projects that make our clients successful. The ideal candidate for this position will have experience working on Federal facility, equipment, and infrastructure projects, and have experience with design-build projects.

They will manage all design, cost, schedule, construction and general administration activities associated with their projects. This Project Manager will be responsible for the successful completion of large and smaller value projects as part of an annual portfolio of projects. Additionally, this Project Manager will:Plan, coordinate, communicate and facilitate activities of several disciplines on projects of all sizes from concept through completionMake critical decisions and recommendations that have an important effect on projects and programsManage project delivery, including scoping, budgeting, maintaining schedules, meeting budget objectives, communicating and meeting deadlinesManage multiple projects at one time, including a wide range of project scopes from small to complex with varying schedulesProvide direction to a multi-discipline project design teamMonitor project execution for conformance to established processesPromote safe work environmentsAssist with the development of technical and cost proposals and qualification statementsInteract with the client and design team to develop project scope and communicate regular project status updates with the clientThis person will serve as one of the primary interfaces with local clientsAssist in maintaining client relationships and network within the client organization in supporting business development activitiesQualificationsBachelor Degree in engineering, architecture, construction management or related degree from accredited program and 7 to 20 years applicable experience RequiredAbility to represent Burns & McDonnell in a professional, competent mannerExcellent written & verbal communication skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy Security ClearanceSupport field work throughout design and constructionCapable of devising new approaches to problems encounteredBe part of an energy filled workplace that pays for performance, where you can invest in a career that you will grow into and work for a company where employees own 100% of the company.This job posting will remain open a minimum of 72 hours and on an ongoing basis until filled.EEO/Disabled/Veterans
