Overview
We are looking for a full-time Project Manager in the Bay Minette, Alabama area to oversee the process of transitioning medical manufacturing facilities, assets, and human capital to new locations. Candidate must have 3-5 years of experience in planning, coordinating logistics, monitoring budgets and costs, tracking deliverables, problem-solving, and ensuring smooth and efficient completion of projects.
Responsibilities
* Coordinate and manage all aspects of relocation projects including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution.
* Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and cost forecasts.
* Ensure project deliverables meet the organization's quality standards and regulatory requirements.
* Develop project plans, define objectives, organize timelines, and allocate resources to ensure efficiencies.
* Communicate regularly with internal and external stakeholders, including vendors and internal teams, to ensure project goals are met and potential concerns are addressed.
* Develop standards, processes, and tools used for effective project scheduling and to set and manage quality targets.
* Establish data collection and reporting processes to capture key metrics of project activities and to provide periodic reporting.
* Track project progress, identify deviations from the plan, and implement corrective actions.
Requirements
* Proven experience transitioning medical-related manufacturing facilities.
* Demonstrated experience collaborating and communicating with medical/healthcare professionals to ensure project design is aligned with business needs and industry standards.
* Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, or a related field.
* Project Management: PM certification from accredited institution.
* Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to negotiate with outside vendors.
* Organization: Proven task driven organizational skills; ability to prioritize and drive results; and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Regulatory: Knowledge of various federal and state laws and regulations.
* Problem-solving: Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
* Financial: Experience in budget management and cost analysis.
* Software: Familiarity with project management platform and tools to track progress and report status updates.
