This role is ideal for someone who is committed to building a long-term career in Austin and values consistency over constant travel or project-hopping.Key Responsibilities:Manage all phases of commercial electrical construction projects from preconstruction through closeoutOversee project budgets, schedules, and financial performanceCoordinate with field teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure successful project deliveryMaintain strong relationships with local clients, vendors, and stakeholdersEnsure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budgetReview contracts, change orders, and project documentationLead project meetings and provide regular updates to internal and external stakeholdersThis is a locally focused role, with projects based in the Austin area—no extensive travel or relocation from site to site.RequirementsEducation & Experience:Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred5–10+ years of experience in electrical construction project managementProven experience managing commercial construction projectsProject Experience:Commercial electrical constructionProject sizes in the $5M–$10M rangeCore Competencies:Strong financial and operational project management skillsAbility to manage budgets, schedules, and subcontractor performanceExcellent communication and relationship-building skillsCommitment to delivering high-quality, local projectsAdditional Qualifications:Desire to build a long-term career in the Austin marketStable work history (not seeking candidates focused on short-term mega project assignments)Strong understanding of electrical systems and construction processesBenefits & CompensationBase Salary: $110,000 – $140,000 (commensurate with experience)Comprehensive benefits package, including:Medical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchPaid time off and holidaysCareer growth opportunities within a leading Texas contractorStable pipeline of local projects
