Project ManagerLocation: Atlanta, GAPay Range: $34.00 – $41.50 per hour (flexibility depending on experience)This role offers strong work-life balance. Overtime is minimal, and extended hours are generally only required when traveling to project sites. When travel results in longer days, team members often take a half day on Friday during the same week.

If this isn't the right opportunity for you, please still apply, as I work with many engineering firms where your background may be a great fit.Position SummaryWe have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee educational and commercial construction projects from start to finish.

This role ensures projects are completed according to contract documents and plans, stay within budget, and maintain proper schedules. The Project Manager will manage multiple projects simultaneously, typically six to eight active projects—and serve as the owner's representative, ensuring budget, quality, and schedule remain on track throughout the construction lifecycle.Key ResponsibilitiesManage client needs and expectations throughout the life of the project through regular meetings and communicationServe as the primary owner's representative coordinating architects, general contractors, consultants, and end usersCoordinate stakeholders during all phases of design and constructionParticipate in interview panels and assist with contractor selection and bidding processesReview and respond to correspondence including progress reports, testing results, and project documentationMaintain thorough working knowledge of project plans, specifications, contracts, and schedulesParticipate in and lead project meetingsManage and track change ordersMonitor design and construction progress and proactively troubleshoot potential issuesEnsure projects are closed out in accordance with established proceduresAttend and participate in pre-bid conferences, zoning meetings, and public hearingsManage project documentation and files per established guidelinesManage design professional contracts, amendments, and end-user change requestsCoordinate third-party consultants and manage claims as neededRecommend improvements to standard operating procedures based on project outcomesFinancial ResponsibilitiesReview and approve contractor and consultant payment requestsAssist with development and management of project budgetsValidate contractor pay applications and vendor invoicesAssess and report financial risksApprove schedules, schedules of values, and wage and rental ratesVerify project budgets and funding sourcesManage retainage release and final disbursement of project fundsEnsure assigned projects stay within departmental and project budgetsQualificationsUndergraduate degree in Engineering, Architecture, Building Construction, or Construction Management from an accredited institution or an Associate's degree5+ years of experience managing the full range of construction projects for educational or commercial facilitiesExperience managing projects as an Owner's Representative or on the General Contractor sideExperience with multiple project delivery methods, including design-bid-build, design-build, and organizational, communication, and multitasking skillsAbility to manage multiple concurrent projects ranging from $1M to $200MAbility to work independently while reporting to a Project ExecutivePreferred Qualifications:Experience using eBuilder project management software (experience not required; training available)If you are interested in this opportunity, please apply or send your resume to to discuss this opportunity in greater detail, or you can call me at .
