This is not a desk-only project management role. You'll own your projects from start to finish, balancing what's happening in the field with budgets, schedules, subcontractors, documentation, and customer expectations. Restoration experience is valuable, but it isn't the only path to success here. We're interested in experienced professionals from residential construction, remodeling, general contracting, insurance reconstruction, and commercial construction who know how to run projects and get results.What You'll OwnAs a Reconstruction Project Manager, you'll have responsibility for the successful execution and financial performance of multiple projects, including:Managing reconstruction projects from approved scope through final completionPlanning project schedules, sequencing trades, and keeping work movingCoordinating and managing subcontractors, vendors, materials, and resourcesConducting regular site visits to verify progress, workmanship, safety, and scheduleManaging job costs, budgets, change orders, and overall project profitabilityReviewing scopes, estimates, plans, and project documentation to ensure work is completed accuratelySetting clear expectations with customers and providing consistent communication throughout the projectIdentifying problems early and making decisions that keep projects on trackPartnering with internal estimating, operations, mitigation, and administrative teamsMaintaining accurate project documentation and ensuring jobs are closed out efficientlyBuilding strong relationships with customers, subcontractors, vendors, and insurance partnersThe Experience We're Looking ForWe're looking for someone who already understands what it takes to manage construction—not someone who needs to learn the fundamentals of running a project.Strong candidates will bring:Proven project management experience in reconstruction, restoration, residential construction, remodeling, general contracting, or commercial constructionHands-on experience managing multiple active construction projectsStrong knowledge of construction processes, sequencing, materials, and tradesExperience managing subcontractors and holding partners accountable for quality and timelinesExperience with project budgets, job costing, change orders, and profitabilityAbility to read and interpret scopes of work, estimates, plans, and construction documentsStrong customer communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skillsConfidence making decisions and taking ownership when challenges ariseStrong organization and follow-through in a fast-moving environmentValid driver's license and acceptable driving recordExperience with insurance restoration, Xactimate, DASH, RMS, or similar construction/project management systems is a plus, but not required.This Role May Be a Great Fit If You're Coming From:Restoration or insurance reconstructionResidential remodeling or homebuildingGeneral contractingCommercial constructionExterior restoration or storm-related constructionA construction superintendent or field leadership role with strong project management responsibilityIf you know how to manage the build, lead subcontractors, control costs, communicate with customers, and drive a project to completion, we can teach you the restoration-specific side of the business.
