Company Overview:
A global alternative investment management firm with a significant asset management portfolio is seeking a Project Manager to join their Operations & Middle Office team. The role involves managing initiatives to drive efficient and well-controlled operational workflows.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead the project pipeline between Operations & Middle Office and Technology, managing initiatives from initiation through implementation
- Plan, coordinate and oversee projects tied to operational workflows, including Private Credit, Loans and CLOs
- Partner with stakeholders across teams to define project scope and objectives, build detailed work plans and deliver key project artifacts
- Identify project risks and issues early, escape where appropriate and recommend effective solutions to keep delivery on track
- Provide regular reporting on project and program status, including major deliverables, timelines and risk factors
- Manage project budgets and resource allocation across active workstreams
- Create clear, effective presentations for senior management, translating raw data into meaningful insights and recommendations
- Support ad hoc projects and requests as needed
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of project management experience within a financial services or consulting environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Visio
- Knowledge of trading workflows, operations, technology and financial products
- Experience with project management tools and standard delivery methodologies
- Preferred subject matter expertise in Private Credit, Loans and/or Collateralized Loan Obligations
Compensation:
Salary: $160,000 - $200,000, Plus Bonus
