The key projects can range in scope from driving the new product development projects, engineering projects, and new business opportunities. The key responsibilities are to manage the project phases with a focus on minimizing risk, driving the timeline, and staying within budget.Key DutiesTasks/Duties/Responsibilities:Partner with R&D, Operations, Regulatory, Quality, Project Management, Finance, and Marketing and others to define project scope, goals and deliverables as well as successfully manage projectsDevelops accurate, achievable project plans and consistently communicates the plans with team members and the leadership teamDrives team ownership and commitment to project plans and recommends changes when necessary to meet project outputsTracks and communicates project performance, specifically to analyze successful completion of short- and long-term goalsEnsures on-time completion of tasks as required by the project and/or company proceduresFacilitates cross-functional project team meetingsOther duties as assignedOther Duties/Physical RequirementsPhysicalAbility to walk up and down several flights of stairs throughout the workday in a multi-location facilityMust be able to lift to 20 pounds of supplies or finished product throughout the work shiftMust be able to adhere to applicable biosafety practices when on the manufacturing floor or in laboratoriesAbility to stand, stoop, reach, push and pull throughout the course of the work shiftTravel up to 15%QualificationsMinimum Education or Equivalent Experience Required/PreferredBachelor's degree in science or business administration or related field OR Bachelor's degree in engineeringAt least 5 years of project management experienceProject management qualification (PMP) or equivalent preferredCompetencies Required or preferredDemonstrated Project Management skills with proven record of practical project management experience preferably in the diagnostic or related biotechnical fieldDemonstrate successful management of product(s) from concept to launchMust have the ability to perform critical path identificationExcellent problem-solving skills.

Must be a self-starter, detail-oriented and able to prioritize and balance workloads and timelines and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneouslyMust be able to work independently as well as collaboratively with peers and colleagues in a cross functional settingMust be well organized and have the ability to meet strict deadlines and perform under pressure in a fast-paced work environmentExcellent interpersonal, organizational and written and oral communication skillsBasic understanding of device development, engineering, and manufacturing activities is a plus
