Project Manager – Developer / Contractor - Multi Family Specalist

About the Role

Manage all aspects of ground-up multi family construction projects from preconstruction through completion.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of ground-up multi family construction projects from preconstruction through completion.
• Oversee project budgets, financial reporting, contracts, schedules and change orders.
• Lead project teams across one large project or multiple smaller projects.
• Coordinate Owners, Architects, Designers, Subcontractors and internal teams.
• Run project meetings and maintain strong communication with all stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Microsoft Project.
• Manage project documentation and accounting processes.
• Review and coordinate MEP systems throughout the project.
• Oversee construction in occupied buildings where required.
• Maintain a high standard of quality across all project phases.
• Provide leadership, mentoring and training to Project Engineers, Assistant Project Managers and other team members.
• Identify and resolve project issues while maintaining schedule and budget requirements.
• Work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing multi family construction projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering or a related field preferred.

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of ground-up multi family construction.
• Experience with preconstruction, change orders and project financials.
• Knowledge of MEP systems and commercial interiors.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lead meetings and effectively communicate with Owners and Design teams.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and Microsoft Project. xzgxqkn
• Familiarity with construction accounting and project management software.
