A client of Insight Global is seeking a Project Manager to join a growing bridge engineering, fabrication, and construction organization. Position Overview

The Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating engineering, procurement, fabrication, and production activities throughout the lifecycle of bridge construction projects. This individual will serve as the primary point of contact between internal departments, customers, and leadership teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and according to company standards.

The ideal candidate will have project management experience within a construction, steel fabrication, or infrastructure environment and be comfortable driving schedules, coordinating multiple stakeholders, and managing project execution from kickoff through completion.

Responsibilities

  • Review project proposals, plans, specifications, and contracts to establish project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones, and departmental deliverables.
  • Coordinate engineering, procurement, fabrication, and production teams to support efficient project execution.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, sales teams, and company leadership regarding project status and progress.
  • Track communications, project updates, and key milestones throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Monitor risks and identify potential issues that could impact project success, implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Prepare status reports, performance updates, and recommendations for management.
  • Represent the company in project meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Manage vendor relationships, deliverables, and project integration activities.
  • Provide technical and analytical guidance to project stakeholders and support teams.

Skills and Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of project management experience within a construction, fabrication, infrastructure, or related environment.
  • Experience managing multiple priorities, schedules, and stakeholder groups simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and documentation skills.
  • Experience utilizing project management tools such as Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
  • Experience in steel fabrication, steel construction, or bridge-related projects.
  • Familiarity with steel fabrication procedures and methods.
  • General understanding of construction means, methods, and field operations.
  • Ability to provide technical guidance while coordinating cross-functional teams.

Additional Information

Occasional travel required (less than 20%).

Compensation

($85,000 to $95,000).

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefits

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
