Must-Haves:
- 5+ years of project management, project coordination, facilities, construction, or building systems experience
- Experience working with HVAC, Building Management Systems (BMS), Building Automation Systems (BAS), Fire Alarm, Access Control, or mechanical/electrical building systems
- Experience coordinating vendors, subcontractors, field teams, and customers
- Experience managing project schedules, budgets, risks, documentation, and deliverables
- Strong client-facing communication and problem-solving skills
- Experience with project documentation such as RFIs, submittals, change orders, compliance records, and closeout packages
Plusses:
- Experience with AIA billing, Schedule of Values, revenue recognition, forecasting, or cost tracking
- Commissioning, equipment startup, or project turnover experience
- Microsoft Project, SharePoint, or Visio experience
- PMP certification
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Project Manager to support building systems projects throughout the NYC market. This individual will oversee projects involving HVAC Controls, Building Automation Systems, Fire Alarm, Access Control, renovations, upgrades, and tenant improvements.
The Project Manager will manage projects from kickoff through closeout, including project schedules, budgets, subcontractors, vendors, procurement, documentation, installation, commissioning, and customer communication. This individual will serve as the primary point of contact for clients and internal teams while ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within scope, and within budget.
Additional responsibilities include tracking project financials, coordinating RFIs and submittals, managing change orders, resolving field issues, preparing project reports, supporting material procurement, monitoring compliance, and coordinating final turnover documentation and training. xzgxqkn
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Compensation: $40-49/hr
