Project ManagerRCM Engineering Process & Industrial Services Division is looking for a Project Manager in our Buffalo, NY area office.Responsibilities:Direct all phases of Engineering Design projects – estimating, project direction / execution, and through construction and commissioning supportParticipate and support our client's projects by supporting engineering (basic and detailed), procurement, fabrication and constructionMaintain a strategic focus for the projects with frequent interaction with the business unit and the client to ensure a balance between the immediate project needs and the long-term goals of the companyManage the execution of one or more simultaneous projects ranging from $0.5MM to $30MM that are affiliated with our Industrial Gas, Chemical, Commercial and other third-party customers (projects are primarily located within operating facilities or brownfield locations)Utilize project management methodologies, systems and tools as required to meet the needs of various project assignmentsAssist with business development and new client acquisitionLead project teams and facilitate the communication and interaction among the functional representativesTrack projects against their schedules, budgets and against phase gate review objectives, reporting status to management and customer on a regular basisDevelop and implement recovery plans for off-schedule and unanticipated occurrencesMaintain awareness of safety and environmental requirementsQualifications:Minimum of 7 years industrial related project experience, with at least 3 years of project management experiencePossess a general understanding of contract administration, business principals and have a broad understanding of each engineering disciplinePE Licensing and / or PMP Certification is beneficialExperience in construction is desirableExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility and willingness to travel to client locations or project sitesAbility to work independently as well as in a team environmentEducation:BS degree in a technical or engineering disciplineRCM Process & Industrial Team offers a comprehensive suite of services, from concept through to the commissioning of grassroots facilities, retrofits, and upgrades in the Process & Industrial markets.
