Project Manager

IT Project Manager (Higher Education) | Brunswick, ME| Pay Rate: $65-$70 hr. depending on experience | ProSearch is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead Workday Recruiting and other enterprise SaaS implementation initiatives within a mission-driven higher education environment. This full-time contract opportunity offers a pay rate of $65-$70/hour, runs for a minimum of six months, and is ideal for professionals with experience delivering complex technology projects, managing cross-functional stakeholders, and driving successful SaaS implementations.

In this role, you'll immediately assume ownership of two high-priority initiatives: the ongoing Workday Recruiting implementation and the Coursedog implementation/ CourseLeaf migration. You'll work closely with academic, administrative, and IT teams to drive successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Workday Recruiting implementation activities
• Manage the Coursedog implementation and CourseLeaf migration
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and documentation
• Gather business and technical requirements
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and stakeholders
• Facilitate project meetings, communications, and status reporting
• Support PMO governance processes and vendor engagements
• Drive SaaS implementation projects from planning through delivery

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of Project Management experience
• Experience in Higher Education or a complex IT environment
• Experience leading enterprise software or SaaS implementations
• Strong PMO, stakeholder management, and communication skills
• Experience gathering requirements and managing project documentation
• Ability to quickly take ownership of active projects and drive results

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Workday Recruiting
• Experience with Coursedog and/or CourseLeaf
• PMP Certification
• Experience managing implementation partners and vendorsFamiliarity with higher education administrative systems
