Position Details
- Job Title: Senior Consultant v2 – Medicaid Systems Implementation Project Manager
- Location: Boise, Idaho
- Work Arrangement: Hybrid
- Contract Duration: October 26, 2026 – December 3, 2027
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8 hours/day
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end implementation of Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) modules and components.
- Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, risks, milestones, and deliverables.
- Coordinate multiple vendors, project managers, and government teams.
- Oversee legacy system migration, data conversion, implementation planning, and go-live activities.
- Ensure alignment with Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW), analytics, and reporting requirements.
- Lead stakeholder engagement, change management, training, and project communications.
- Present project status, risks, and outcomes to executive leadership and key stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of project management experience in healthcare technology or state government.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in change management, training coordination, and rollout communications.
- Minimum 5 years of experience with legacy system migration and data conversion.
- Strong skills in project planning, risk mitigation, stakeholder management, and vendor coordination.
- Experience gathering requirements and prioritizing data aggregation, analytics, and reporting activities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with state Medicaid agencies.
- Experience with Medicaid system implementation or modernization projects.
- Experience coordinating multiple vendors and cross-functional government teams.
- Experience with system certification, legacy migration, and go-live planning.
