This role requires the ability to work independently across multiple projects or on a dedicated large-scale project, in close coordination with field staff and senior leadership.Act as the main liaison between the client, design team, consultants, and subcontractors throughout all phases of the projectLead and manage all aspects of project administration, including document control, RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, and closeout documentationPrepare, review, and track project budgets, forecasts, and cost reports in coordination with senior leadership and accounting teamsOversee and execute all project financial controls, including managing owner and subcontractor change orders, billing, receivables, lien releases, and subcontractor paymentsDevelop and maintain the project schedule in collaboration with the Superintendent, ensuring alignment with phasing, long-lead items, and procurement timelinesPartner with field staff to coordinate daily construction activities, monitor quality, and mitigate delays or disruptionsIdentify and manage project risks, delays, and claims by maintaining detailed records, documenting potential impacts, and communicating timely updates to stakeholdersCollaborate with Senior Project Manager or Project Director on project strategy, staffing, and high-level decision makingManage multiple concurrent projects up to approximately $10M in value, or serve as the primary Project Manager on a larger-scale project with a focus on financials, administration, and document managementOperate independently in the execution of PM duties when not staffed with an Assistant Project ManagerInterface with Superintendents (Super 2 or above) on field execution for complex or logistically challenging projectsEnsure full compliance with contract requirements, company policies, and safety standards throughout the duration of the projectMaintain strong communication with all project stakeholders and provide regular updates on progress, issues, and action plansMinimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in commercial construction; interiors or high-end occupied spaces preferredProven ability to manage complex projects, including work in active or occupied environmentsStrong client-facing skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholdersProficient in reading and interpreting commercial construction drawings, specifications, and contract documentsOSHA 10-Hour Construction Safety and Health Certification preferred4-Hour Supported Scaffold User Certification preferredMicrosoft Office (Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint, and Outlook), Procore (preferred but not required), and Timberline (preferred but not required)All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment at JRM without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, veteran status, or other characteristics protected by law.The salary range listed in job postings reflects the Company's good-faith estimate at the time of posting.
