Project Manager at Spectrum Fine Cabinetry | Boca Raton, FL

$130,000–$155,000 base + annual discretionary performance bonus

Spectrum Fine Cabinetry has been designing, supplying, and installing custom cabinetry since 1976, with offices in Boca Raton, FL and Syosset, NY. Our work is in some of the most demanding multifamily high-rise projects in the country. Our South Florida operation is growing, and this role is a chance to help build it. You'll own your projects from day one, and there is a real path to senior leadership as the team expands.

Working alongside our existing Senior Project Manager, you will own your own portfolio of projects. This role exists to take on projects outright, not to assist.

If you've managed cabinetry, millwork, or other interior finish scopes on multifamily projects and know how to keep a GC, an architect, and a factory moving in the same direction, we want to talk to you.

What you'll own

  • Complete lifecycle of multifamily cabinetry packages from award through final payment
  • Managing the shop drawing and submittal process from start to approval, ensuring drawings comply with project requirements and Spectrum best practices, and coordinating with the GC, architect, and owner's representative
  • Production scheduling against overseas manufacturing lead times and GC milestone dates
  • Change orders, RFIs, pay applications (AIA G702/G703), lien waivers, and retainage
  • Direction of our field superintendents and installer subcontractors
  • Punch and closeout, and representing Spectrum's interests with GCs and owners in a way that is firm, professional, and keeps the relationship intact
  • Mentoring junior project staff as the team grows

What we need

  • 3+ years on multifamily or mixed-use high-rise projects as a project manager or assistant project manager with responsibility for cabinetry, millwork, or other interior finish scopes, with a general contractor or a subcontractor. Sub-side experience is a strong plus.
  • Comfortable in the room with GC executives, owner's reps, and demanding architects, and able to hold a position when the drawings, schedule, or backcharges don't add up, without needing to force it
  • Adaptable. You'll be joining a company with its own systems and ways of working, and we need someone who can learn them fast, improve them where they're weak, and isn't attached to how their last employer did things.
  • Fluent reading architectural and shop drawings; proficient in Procore and Bluebeam
  • Based in South Florida with regular on-site presence across Palm Beach, Broward, and Miami-Dade
  • Spanish is a plus

What we offer

Competitive base salary, annual discretionary performance bonus, mileage and travel expenses reimbursed, health benefits, paid time off, safe harbor 401(k), and a growing team where you'll help shape the process, mentor junior PMs as we add them, and work directly with ownership.

To apply

  • Send a resume and a project list: project name, general contractor, contract value, and your role on each. Applications without a project list will not be reviewed.
