Project ManagerThe organization is seeking a Project Manager to oversee a new modernization project for an automated information reporting system. The project aims to enhance the current solution and automate additional business functions, enabling more effective tracking, monitoring, and auditing of service provider cost reports, submissions, and documentation.The Project Manager should have a strong understanding of the PMI framework, Project Delivery Framework, and reporting requirements for major information resource projects. The successful candidate will understand both business and technical objectives related to system modernization.The Worker will be responsible for managing communication with stakeholders and project teams and for developing strong relationships with key decision-makers.
The Worker must be able to understand and clearly communicate complex technical designs, implementations, and business processes.Responsibilities Include:Creating required project documentation, presentations, and artifacts as neededProviding weekly written and verbal status updates and conducting regular project status meetingsPresenting to leadership and oversight entities, escalating risks and issues in a timely mannerProviding on-call support as required, depending on the project phaseActing as a liaison between stakeholders and project teamsEnsuring the project follows standard guidelines and procedures and that project artifacts align with the Project Delivery FrameworkManaging and monitoring project schedule, scope, and budgetOverseeing development progress and ensuring alignment with project timelinesDocumenting risks, issues, and contingency plans and removing project impedimentsOverseeing development of SDLC artifacts and ensuring business requirements are metCandidate Skills and QualificationsMinimum Requirements:Candidates who do not meet or exceed the minimum requirements may be displayed to customers but may not be selected for this opportunity.Years - Required/Preferred - Experience10 - Required - Project management experience for large-scale enterprise implementations8 - Required - Federal or State-level project management experience8 - Required - Project management / systems analyst experience leading legacy modernization projects5 - Preferred - Project Delivery Framework experience5 - Preferred - Experience with low-code / no-code solutions3 - Preferred - Experience with statewide systems3 - Preferred - Knowledge of QAT processes for major information resource projects***Lumen and / or its clients will not provide equipment (Laptop, monitor, etc.) to the selected contractor.
