Rebar Project ManagerAs the Rebar Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the rebar office operations within the organization. Your role will involve managing a team of professionals, coordinating projects, ensuring quality standards are met, and optimizing processes to enhance efficiency and productivity. This role is in conjunction with his/her day-to-day operations as a project manager as well.
You will play a crucial role in driving the department's success and contributing to the overall objectives of the company.Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership:- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of rebar professionals.- Provide guidance, support, and coaching to team members to enhance their skills and performance.- Review, negotiation, and execution of written contract and purchase orders.- Foster a positive work environment that encourages collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.Project Management:- Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of rebar projects.- Coordinate with project managers, detailers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to specifications.- Assure that all change orders are identified, captured, and executed-Assure that all RFI's are properly issued, followed up upon, filed, distributed, documented, and priced if applicable.- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful outcomes.Quality Assurance:- Conduct regular inspections and audits to assess workmanship, materials, and compliance with specifications.- Implement corrective actions as needed to address quality issues and improve performance.Resource Management:- Allocate resources effectively to support project requirements and meet production targets.- Optimize resource utilization to minimize waste and maximize profitability.Communication and Stakeholder Engagement:- Communicate effectively with internal teams, clients, contractors, and suppliers to coordinate project requirements and resolve issues proactively.- Collaborate with management to address and resolve all customer concerns and complaints.- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to understand their needs, address concerns, and maintain customer satisfaction.- Provide regular updates, reports, and presentations to senior management on departmental performance, projects status, and strategic initiatives.Sales and Business Development:- Working closely with Director of Sales with Identify new business opportunities, market trends, and customer needs to develop targeted sales initiatives.- Cultivate and maintain relationships with key customers, contractors, architects, and other stakeholders to drive sales and enhance customer satisfaction.Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, or related field. (Preferred)- Proven experience in rebar operations, with a minimum of 5 years in a managerial role.- In-depth knowledge of rebar techniques, materials, equipment, and industry best practices.- Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.- Proficient in project management tools and software applications.- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.- Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.- Knowledge of aSa Studio software (Preferred)- Bilingual fluency in Spanish/English is a plus.The Rebar Project Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the success of construction projects by overseeing the efficient and effective installation of rebar.
