Journeyman Project ManagerRed Carrot is seeking a Journeyman Project Manager to serve as the single point of contact and overall lead on a high-visibility federal communications and support services contract. This is a critical leadership role responsible for managing a large, diverse team across multiple task areas supporting the customer's External Affairs office.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as the single point of contact for the Contracting Officer and Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) for all contract mattersProvide centralized administration and management for all tasks identified in the Statement of WorkPrepare a Task Order Project Management Plan within 10 business days of the kickoff meeting, describing the technical approach, organizational resources, and management controlsConduct routine, ongoing communications with identified federal points of contact for the duration of the contractParticipate in regularly scheduled meetings to provide updates on work in progress, discuss issues, and resolve matters as they ariseIdentify and recommend procedure changes to maintain efficient and effective management of leadership engagement activitiesEnsure contractually required staffing levels are maintained at all times; coordinate replacements and notify the COR of any absencesProvide monthly progress reports to the Contracting Officer and COR including labor hours by category, direct costs, technical progress, schedule status, and travelBe available to the COR via telephone between 8:00am and 4:30pm ET, Monday through Friday, and respond to technical issues within 2 hours of notificationMinimum QualificationsBA/BS required; MA or MBA preferredCurrently holds, or is able to obtain, the required government Fitness DeterminationDemonstrated experience managing multi-task federal contracts with diverse teams across communications, creative, and administrative disciplinesStrong written and verbal communication skills; ability to read, write, speak, and understand English fluentlyExperience serving as a primary contractor point of contact with government Contracting Officers and CORsAbility to work on-site at customer facilities in Arlington, VA as requiredBenefits at Red Carrot:At Red Carrot, we empower you to be a leader.
