Project Manager- Architecture and EngineeringAECOM's Buildings + Places practice is growing — and we're looking for a driven, collaborative, and experienced Project Manager to join our Indianapolis team. This is an exciting opportunity to lead dynamic, interdisciplinary projects that are shaping cities, communities, and client organizations across the region. If you're looking for a leadership role where your project management expertise will directly influence design excellence, delivery precision, and client satisfaction, we want to hear from you.As a Project Manager, you'll be responsible for leading multi-discipline projects of various sizes across the full lifecycle — from pursuit and proposal to design, construction, and closeout.

You'll serve as a strategic partner to our clients and internal teams, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, and quality expectations are consistently exceeded. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to high-impact work across sectors including civic, cultural, workplace, and education — all within the support structure of a global design and delivery leader.The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:Lead project planning, execution, and delivery with internal teams and external stakeholdersServe as the primary client point of contact and represent AECOM with confidence and clarityCoordinate scope, fee proposals, and work plans across architecture and engineering disciplinesManage project lifecycle: scope, schedule, budget, risk, quality, and change managementDrive team performance, collaboration, and communicationPrepare and lead project meetings, agendas, and milestone reportingEnsure project documentation, invoicing, and financial metrics align with expectationsIdentify and resolve project issues while maintaining momentum toward client and business goalsSupport pursuit and proposal strategies on new opportunitiesMinimum Requirements:BA/BS in Architecture or related field + 4 years of relevant experience managing A/E Design Projects or related field or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or educationPreferred Qualifications:8+ years of related experience, and 6 years managing A/E projectsStrong leadership and communication skills necessary to coordinate multi-discipline teamsHistory of making decisions to drive successful project executionLicensed RAAbility to work in fast-paced environment and coordinate with multiple stakeholdersAdditional Information:Sponsorship is not available for this role
