Project ManagerA well-established general contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead public infrastructure projects across California. With a strong pipeline of K-12, DSA-regulated, and Public Works projects, this role is responsible for managing projects from preconstruction through closeout while ensuring schedule, budget, safety, and quality goals are met.This is a strong opportunity for someone with public works or DSA experience who can take ownership of projects and lead teams in active, regulated environments.Key ResponsibilitiesManage projects from preconstruction through closeout on K-12, DSA, and Public Works projectsLead project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and cost controlCoordinate all phases of construction to ensure on-time and on-budget deliveryOversee subcontractor procurement, bid review, and contract administrationManage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentationTrack project budgets, cost reports, and financial performanceMaintain and update project schedules with input from field teamsEnsure compliance with safety standards, DSA requirements, and QA/QC processesLead project meetings with owners, architects, consultants, and internal teamsOversee project closeout including punch lists, turnover, and final documentationQualifications5+ years of experience as a Project Manager with a general contractorStrong understanding of California public contracting and DSA complianceProficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, and Microsoft OfficeAbility to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneouslyStrong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skillsBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferredCompensation & BenefitsPerformance-based bonus401(k) with company matchMedical coverage with reimbursement options for dental and visionFlexible Spending Account (FSA)Long-term disability insurancePaid holidays, PTO, and sick timeStable pipeline of public works and DSA projects
