Project ManagerThe person in this position:Is knowledgeable in all areas of system development understanding business processes to successfully lead and manage a team to modify an existing system.Stays abreast of current industry trends and ERP technologies to oversee the design and modification of integrated auxiliary systems to meet functional and non-functional requirements.Is responsible for clear communication and coordination between stakeholders and IT leadership to successfully resolve various issues and communicate project status.Project Manager responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:Project Planning, Organization, ImplementationProject Control Processes, Procedures, Change ControlRisk ManagementIssue Management and trackingDeployment and Implementation PlanningQuality Assurance and Quality Control (User Acceptance Test Planning)Leadership to the project team and others, both internal and external to FDLETeam Management and Assignment TrackingMonitoring contractor performance in producing quality deliverables on time.Communications Management, including team, stakeholders, and external entities.Maintaining Project SchedulesServe as a single point of contact for reporting project status.Provide detailed and summary reporting of project status.Requirements management while facilitating the gathering of detailed requirements in Joint Application Development (JAD) sessions.Make recommendations for executive action when required.Ensure compliance with FDLE and FL Digital Services policies and procedures.Ensure system design conforms to Rule 60-GGCoordinate effectively with FDLE Information Technology Services (ITS) staff required to support the project.Effectively work with Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS), BSP, IFS throughout the software development life cycle to complete the project.Assist FDLE PALM Program Manager with all necessary RAMS documentation.Attend Steering and Oversight Committee Meetings and provide Status Updates as needed.Mandatory Skills and Experience:Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or other related Information Technology (IT) fieldsProject Management Professional (PMP) certificationMinimum of 7 years of work experience managing successful, large-scale IT projectsExperience managing a minimum of 3 full lifecycle Oracle EBS R12 implementation projects.Experience managing large system IT projects through all phases of the software development lifecycle.Experience managing IT projects in the range of $2M to $10M.Experience managing IT teams with diverse assignments such as business analysts, database analysts, application architects, software developers, and hardware support.Experience using both Waterfall and Agile project management methodologies.Experience performing differing test methodologies in IT projects.Extensive experience using Microsoft Project to develop and maintain detailed project schedules.Experience in delivering projects in the agreed scope, schedule, and budget.Excellent oral and written communication skillsStrong Project Planning & Organizational SkillsExceptional interpersonal skills.Strong collaboration skills with stakeholdersAbility to facilitate JAD sessions.Experience with determining system requirements from stakeholdersExperience presenting project status updates to differing audiences for their understanding.Ability to effectively lead a project team to meet project objectives.Understands the complexities of ERP systems and provides guidance for the development team.Preferred Knowledge Skills and Abilities:Government, Law Enforcement, or Public Safety IT projectsMaster’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or other related IT fields or equivalent Project Management work experienceExperience managing Oracle EBS R12 development projects.Knowledge of various modules in Oracle EBS ERP systemExperience in data conversion projects
