Project Management (PMP, CAPM) Instructor - Online

Emerging Technologies Institute (ETI) is a privately owned, post-secondary education institution founded in 1999. ETI is licensed by the New York State Education Department and nationally accredited by the Middle States Association.

We are accepting applications for a remote instructor position starting January 2027. In this role, you will lead live, online instructional sessions for students pursuing their CAPM and PMP certifications.

Class Schedule:

Starting January 2027 - CAPM Course: 4 hours/week for 6 weeks

Starting February 2027 - PMP Course: 4 hours/week for 10 weeks

One day a week, ideally Thursdays (flexible), 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM EST

Potential for additional course assignments

Responsibilities

• Deliver live instruction during scheduled class times
• Guide students through the core concepts, practical applications, and exam preparation for CAPM and/or PMP.
• Foster an engaging virtual learning environment that encourages student participation and questions.
• Assess student comprehension during live sessions and provide real-time feedback and support.
• Maintain accurate attendance and grading records

Experience/Qualifications

• CAPM and/or PMP Certification
• Minimum 2 years of experience teaching in a live online/virtual environment to adult learners

Skills

• Proficiency in using Zoom for instruction, including managing breakout rooms, screen sharing, and interactive tools
• Expertise in adult learning principles and instructional practices
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to explain complex concepts in a clear, accessible manner
• Student engagement and interactive teaching strategies in a remote environment
