About the Role:
Asa CBRE Project Management Consultant, you will be responsible for providingconsulting services to an assigned market or client account to help achieve thecompany's strategic business objectives.
This job is part of the Project Managementfunction. They are responsible for the management of projects from initiationthrough completion.
Focus is on Building Management deployment.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage all areas of projectmanagement for singular real estate projects. This includes planning, design,construction, occupancy, and closeout.
- Workdirectly with clients to prepare all elements of the project. This includes thescope of work, project delivery resource requirements, work plan schedule &milestones, quality control, and risk identification.
- Define the project deliveryresources from internal teams.
- Implementproject documentation governance that is aligned with company and clientrequirements.
- Ensureproject data integrity and documentation is accurate, timely, and coordinated.
- Directthe project delivery team by providing guidance and direction to achieve goals.
- Create action plans to meetobjectives, budget, and schedule. Track the progress of each project and reportstatus and variances.
- Demonstrate ability toidentify project threats and develop risk mitigation and contingency plans.Implement action plans to reduce or eliminate project risks.
- Apply in-depth knowledge ofstandard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish complex assignmentsand provide innovative solutions.
- Coach others and sharein-depth knowledge of own job discipline and broad knowledge of several jobdisciplines within the function.
- Lead by example and modelbehaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Work to build consensusand convince others to reach an agreement.
- Impacta range of customer, operational, project, or service activities within ownteam and other related teams.
- Workwithin broad guidelines and policies.
- Explainedifficult or sensitive information.
What You’ll Need:
- Bachelor's Degree preferredwith 5-8 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. LEED AP, PMP, and/or CCMdesignation(s) preferred.
- Abilityto exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
- Willingnessto take a new perspective on existing solutions.
- In-depthknowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook,etc.
- Organizationalskills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.
- Sophisticated math skills.Ability to calculate mildly complex figures such as percentages, fractions, andother financial-related calculations.
- Construction Management, buildingmanagement systems and HVAC experience preferred.
- Travel requirement is up to30% of your annual time. Trips will beovernight up to a weeklong. Back-to-backtravel weeks are not normal.
CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Project Management Consultant position is $90,000 annually (or $43.27 per hour) and the maximum salary for the Project Management Consultant position is $100,000 annually (or $48.08 per hour). The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
