They must also maintain strong client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and new business.Guide multiple jobs and multiple job teams operationally in each phase including pre-construction, construction, closeout, and post-construction servicesFormulate and develop contract terms with clients and communicate to project teamEnsure that the project strategy is clearly defined and communicated and drive the strategy throughout job set upCollaborate with Estimating and Purchasing in the up-front set up of projects to insure profitability, client satisfaction and the best subs for the jobPromote positive subcontractor relations by dealing professionally and fairly with all subcontractors and vendors, and continually instilling this philosophy in the project teamCommunicate effectively with field team members as well as keeping them active in decision-making.Qualifications:10+ years of Construction Management experienceProven track record of successful projectsMust have ability to achieve and maintain financial control and profit goals for projectsBusiness development/heavy client interaction a plusExcellent communication skillsEducation: Bachelor's degree or equivalent and work experienceAdditional Role Specific Skills:Vast knowledge of all trades and phases of the entire construction process: scope, cost, time frames/field execution, typical risks & exposureExtensive people management experienceShawmut prohibits discrimination against any staff member or applicant on the basis of race, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity/expression, age, religion, national origin, marital status, veteran status, pregnancy, physical or mental disability, genetic information, disability, creed, citizenship status, or any other legally protected characteristic.Salary Range Information:NYC Base Salary Range: $200,000 – $300,000 The range stated is specific to New York City.

Placement within the listed range depends on many factors including, but not limited to years of experience, project size capability (for Construction & Field roles) and internal company equity.
