A deep understanding of construction operations, estimating, client relationships, and team development is essential.Our Project Executives/Business Group Leaders oversee multiple projects simultaneously and are responsible for building and mentoring top-performing teams while ensuring successful project execution from preconstruction through closeout.Path Construction is a national general contractor headquartered in Arlington Heights, IL, with projects and offices throughout the country.

Founded in 2008, Path provides a wide range of construction services across diverse sectors, including healthcare, higher education, multifamily, hospitality, retail, self-storage, senior living, transportation, water and wastewater treatment, convention centers, laboratories, correctional, and institutional projects.Duties for Project Executive/Business Group Leaders include:Lead multiple project teams to deliver successful, safe, and profitable projectsOversee preconstruction activities, including subcontractor prequalification, estimating, value engineering, and preconstruction meetingsEstablish project budgets and maintain accountability for project financial performance, including profit and lossIdentify, analyze, and mitigate project risksOversee project schedules from preconstruction through closeoutManage project claims and dispute resolutionReview design documents to verify scope completeness, identify cost impacts, and resolve design conflictsPrepare, track, and distribute preconstruction RFIs to address missing information and clarify scopeOversee the procurement process, including subcontract and purchase order issuanceEnsure effective project controls related to safety, quality, client satisfaction, and profitabilityDevelop, mentor, and lead high-performing project teamsBuild and maintain relationships with existing clients while pursuing new business opportunities through networking and business development efforts
