Responsible for performing highly technical estimates for Transmission line and substation projects in a safe, efficient and economical manner.
This position is responsible for complying with defined project scoping and estimating procedures; gathering and integrating estimate and cost information to build & update master estimating cost models and databases; developing criteria for estimation and use of project and portfolio contingency; and working with project stakeholders (i.e. project management, engineering, planning, construction, contractors, etc.) to develop, implement and continuously improve scoping and estimating processes.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Project Management or related field of study PLUS a minimum of one (1) year of experience in engineering, design, estimating, project management, or construction execution.
OR Associate's Degree in a related field of study PLUS 3 years experience in engineering, design, project management, estimating, or construction execution.
Demonstrate effective leadership, team building and meeting management skills.
Demonstrate a high-level of confidence in the ability to lead a team and a project to successful conclusion.
Demonstrate outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with all stakeholders including team members, sponsors, management and senior management.
