We are seeking an Estimator to help set up our projects for success by preparing accurate and competitive budgets, supporting growth initiatives, and upholding our values.We are looking for a detail-oriented Estimator to join our team.

This role is responsible for the estimation of commercial projects by analyzing plans, specifications, and cost factors to develop accurate, competitive budgets. This role collaborates closely with contractors, architects, and vendors to manage multiple bids, resolve discrepancies, and ensure alignment with project and organizational standards.Essential Duties And Responsibilities:Prepares work to be accomplished by gathering information and requirements; setting prioritiesEstimation of commercial architectural projects from Design of Plan and SpecificationsUnderstand the general and insurance requirementsManage and prioritize multiple bidding responsibilitiesCommunicate bidding project concerns to general contractors and architectsPrepares construction budget by studying plans; updating specifications; identifying and projecting costs for each elevationEvaluates offers to purchase by costing changes, additions, and site requirementsObtains bids from vendors and suppliers by specifying materials; identifying qualified suppliers; negotiating priceMaintains cost keys and price masters by updating informationResolves cost discrepancies by collecting and analyzing informationDelivers presentations by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trendsMaintains quality service by following organization standardsMaintains continuity among corporate, division, and local work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needsTrack and report status of estimated projectsContributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as neededPerform other duties as assigned in order to keep up with company needsQualifications:Associate's Degree or equivalent industry experienceEstimating and/or construction industry experience preferredA detailed-oriented person who demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to read and understand project drawingsExcellent organizational, time management, and critical thinking skillsProficiency with Excel and other Microsoft Office productsFamiliarity with Bluebeam, or similar estimating softwareStrong understanding of construction processes and estimatingPossess physical and mental aptitudes and capabilities that will enable them to do the essential functions of the jobPossess ability to learn, problem-solve, independently assess situations, and respond appropriately and safely to a wide range of intellectual and practical problemsGeneral Employment Conduct & Responsibilites:Promote and encourage the organization's Mission, Vision, Values, and philosophyAttendance on the job, as well as to trainings, continuing education, and meetings as scheduled. There may be exposure to loud noises, white noise, extended periods of sitting, various interruptions, and bright lighting. Special events, conferences, supervisory and management functions may require flexible working hours.
