Job Title: Project Estimator

Position Overview:
Client is seeking an experienced Estimator to join our Boise office. This role will be responsible for estimating and quoting commercial office furniture installation projects across the Mountain West region. This is a specialized position, and candidates must have hands-on office furniture installation experience along with proven experience preparing quotes using the IQ system. Accuracy and a strong understanding of installation requirements are essential to developing reliable project estimates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate estimates and quotes for commercial office furniture installation projects.
- Review project requirements, furniture plans, specifications, and installation scopes.
- Use the IQ system to develop and manage project quotes.
- Apply hands-on knowledge of office furniture installation to accurately assess labor, materials, and project requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams and project stakeholders to ensure estimates are complete and accurate.
- Support projects throughout the Mountain West region.
- Identify potential estimating issues or discrepancies and make appropriate adjustments.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in office furniture installation.
- Strong, practical knowledge of commercial office furniture installation.
- Hands-on experience using the IQ system for quoting/estimating is required.
- Ability to understand installation requirements and translate them into accurate estimates.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
