This individual will serve a key function in managing environmental investigation and remediation projects, delivering technically excellent services, preparing technical proposals and reports, conducting environmental research and analyses, supervising field investigations, and managing staff. In this role, you will have the opportunity to further develop both project management and staff management skills, interact with clients, and work on exciting small and large-scale projects.Job ResponsibilitiesManage environmental investigation and remediation projectsPerform complex analyses for specific portions of broader engineering and environmental projectsPerform conceptual and detail designs including cost estimatesEvaluate technologies for remedial systems and water/wastewater projectsSupervise field activities and ensure correct interpretations of findingsManage and deliver on multiple projects and tasks within specific budgets, schedules, and deadlinesEffectively organize, write and edit draft proposals, reports and other documentsParticipate in the identification and pursuit of new clients, develop additional work within an existing projects and attend business development meetings with new and existing clientsProvide direct oversight and management of junior staff for specific project assignments.

Participate in interviewing and hiring staffCoordinate other work groups across office locations and disciplines on an as-needed basisInterface effectively and professionally with clients, contractors, subcontractors, staff, project personnel, supervisors, and othersPerform other duties as requestedQualificationsBachelor's degree in Environmental, Civil or Chemical Engineering; Master's degree a plusPE certification6+ years of related work experienceKnowledge of quantitative/technical analyses and related softwareDemonstrated ability to perform quantitative and technical analysesExperience navigating multi-media environmental regulatory frameworks, with a strong background in permit application development, compliance monitoring, and sampling programs, including stormwater and sanitary/industrial wastewater discharge permittingDemonstrated ability to develop and refine conceptual site models (CSMs), evaluate contaminate fate and transport, and apply environmental forensics techniques to support source identification and remedial decision-makingProficiency in multi-media site assessment addressing air, groundwater, and soil, with demonstrated involvement in projects from due diligence through site investigation and remedial planning and executionDemonstrated, in-depth understanding of regulatory requirements, with a strong emphasis on the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection Site Remediation Program (SRP) and the Pennsylvania Act 2 regulatory processHazwoper training, maintenance of annual physical and respirator fit test, and annual 8-hr.
