- Review project proposals, specifications, and inspection reports to determine engineering requirements, feasibility, and execution procedures
- Create, review, and approve engineering drawings, including general arrangements, fabrication drawings, and layouts
- Utilize and coordinate shared drafting resources within the engineering department
- Review and approve specifications for engineered equipment and systems
- Manage project timelines to support required delivery schedules
- Assist the Project Manager with preparation and review of customer documentation
- Perform drawing, specification, and document review and approval throughout the project lifecycle
- Interpret and develop Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)
- Ensure designs and documentation align with applicable industry codes and standards
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering
- Approximately 5 years of experience with rotating equipment and engineered systems, including pumps, motors, piping, valves, instrumentation, and modular skid packages
- Experience with oil and gas equipment and fabricated pumping systems
- Strong hands-on experience using Inventor , with proficiency in AutoCAD & SolidWorks
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong skills in reading, developing, and reviewing Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)
- Familiarity with ASME B31.3, ASME B31.4, AWS D1.1, and applicable API specifications
- Project management experience with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple priorities
- Demonstrates leadership ability while maintaining a collaborative team-oriented approach
