Project Engineer Sr - F-35You will be the Project Engineer Sr - F-35 for the F-35 Airframe Control Surfaces and Edges Design Team which is responsible for delivering cutting-edge capabilities to domestic and international customers. What you will be doing as the Project Engineer Sr - F-35 you will be responsible for guiding the airframe control-surface and edges design effort from concept through production, retrofit, upgrades, and repairs.Your responsibilities will include:Leading cross-functional teams to define airframe control-surface requirements and design solutions.Developing and validating engineering approaches for production, retrofit, and upgrade programs.Managing technical documentation and coordinating with suppliers and internal stakeholders.Conducting risk assessments and implementing corrective actions for design issues.Supporting test planning, execution, and data analysis for airframe modifications.We are committed to supporting your work-life balance and overall well-being, offering flexible scheduling options. You thrive in fast-paced environments, enjoy mentoring junior engineers, and are driven by the impact your work has on mission-critical aircraft.Further information about this opportunity must be a U.S. citizen - this position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.Basic qualifications:Project Management or Project Engineering experienceMust be familiar with Earned Value Management concepts and applicationMicrosoft Office Suite proficiency, including Access, Excel and ProjectBachelor's degree in an engineering technical discipline such as Mechanical, Aerospace, Aeronautical or Civil EngineeringDesired skills:Configuration Management experienceFamiliarity or experience with FAR, Part 15 (TINA) compliant proposal requirementsFunctional estimating experience in engineering, materials, operations, and/or SustainmentExperience using proposal pricing systems or BOE tools such as, PROPRICER, APTS, or BOE other tool usageExperience with PDM, Catia, VASExperience with Engineering Bill of Material (EBOM) product structureExperience in TableauProven communication and leadership skillExperience in Earned Value ManagementSecurity clearance statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
