Project Engineer – Solar + Energy Storage
to support the development and execution of utility-scale renewable energy projects from early-stage development through construction and commercial operations.
This position is ideal for an Electrical Engineer with experience supporting large utility-scale solar or solar plus battery storage projects who enjoys working across multiple phases of project development. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with development, engineering, procurement, construction, utilities, consultants, and executive leadership to ensure technically sound project execution while helping optimize project economics and long-term operational performance.

Provide engineering support throughout the full project
lifecycle, from greenfield development through commercial operation
Lead technical due diligence efforts for utility-scale
solar and battery energy storage projects
Develop engineering specifications, one-line diagrams,
Coordinate engineering activities during project
Evaluate engineering alternatives that improve project
performance, constructability, reliability, and financial outcomes
Support EPC contractor selection by reviewing technical
proposals and participating in contract development
procurement of major electrical equipment, including high-voltage systems
Coordinate equipment integration between
Provide engineering support for utility interconnection
activities, including coordination with utilities and independent system
Assist with interconnection agreements, utility
Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams to
ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and in
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering preferred;
other engineering disciplines will be considered with directly applicable
utility-scale renewable energy experience
of engineering
