Project Engineer

Job Duties

Project Engineer for DGI-Menard, Inc.

Perform and manage technical elements of engineering and construction projects. Req. BS in Civil Engineering or Construction Mgmt.

• Adhere to all Company safety rules and procedures.

• Perform and manage field quality control tests and production records.

• Perform basic field surveys, resolve geometry issues, prepare drawings/sketches to support construction work.

• Ensure all work is in accordance with Menard’s standards and design and construction drawings.

• Research and resolve drawing interpretation problems, conflicts, interferences, and errors.

• Prepare RFI’s for submission to General Contractors and Engineers.

• Prepare project submittals for materials, work plans, means & methods statements

• Maintain and establish relationships with project stakeholders and clients.

• Support the Marketing and Business Development departments by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events.

• Make technical presentations to prospects and supporting educational training of Menard clientele

• Travel within the Midwest U.S. region to project sites for quality control and record keeping 3 days per week, 5-7 times per quarter.

Job is based in Roseville, MN. WFH when not on project sites ok up to 2 days per wk. Salary: $76,274 per year, standard company benefits.
