Project EngineerMasTec Civil is seeking an experienced Project Engineer in the heavy civil/roadway construction field that will provide technical engineering information to project supervision and crafts to ensure construction work complies with all safety regulations, engineering standards, codes and specifications.Responsibilities:Ensure that construction crews comply with all OSHA regulations and company safety policiesReview Project Contracts, Plans and Specifications in their entiretyPrepare Project Schedule and monthly updatesPrepare quantity reporting, project costs cash flow projections and forecastingCoordinate with subcontractors, suppliers and workforce to resolve project challenges, conflicts, and/or technical issuesPrepare and submit Prime and Subcontractor Change OrdersManage document control to include submittal schedules, contract documents, project record drawings, etc.Prepare and maintain technical submittal list, NPDES permits, Storm, Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan, and Project Progress Schedule as requiredComply with notice requirements such as inspections, survey staking, joint measurements with owner and/or engineer, utility locations and adjustments, testing, claims, etc.Issue correspondence to subcontractors and vendors when revised plan and/or specifications affects products or servicesAssist with project closeoutPerform additional assignments per the Project Manager's directionQualifications:B.S. in Civil Engineering with emphasis in Construction Engineering and Management4 or more years of experience in the civil construction field on a roadway project(s)What's in it for you:Financial Wellbeing: Compensation commensurate with experience.
